"Black, with a large weeping willow on the back." Based on this proposition, the "Black Haori Weeping Willow" was created as a haori that can be worn in the summer. It is light, thin, and sheer. In addition, the large weeping willow and the fireworks that are exploding from the shoulders to the back are woven in a magnificent way. Like "Natsu Honban", it is made by the highly skilled craftsmen of Tango, Kyoto, and its quality is guaranteed. Not only can you enjoy it for a moment in summer, but you can enjoy it for a surprisingly long period of time, from the end of May to the end of September. It will look great not only with kimonos, but also with Western clothes.
[About the fabric]
The large fireworks pattern woven from the shoulders to the back is created by combining transparent and non-transparent plain weave parts of the gauze, a summer fabric made with a twill weave. It is light and thin, and has excellent breathability because of its transparency. It is a fabric that requires high skill to be woven on a special loom.
