Regarding the handling of personal information from the “SR nekoyanagihonsen nekokiosk” (hereinafter referred to as “Site”) (Privacy Policy)
Management Body
TAPIRS Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") on consignment from Kronekodow Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as the "Consignor") will manage and operate Site in accordance with the handling of personal information (Privacy Policy) as specified below.
Purpose of Use
Company will use personal information obtained from customers, for the purpose to conduct operations for the mail-order business such as making confirmation and/or referral of orders or shipment of goods, delivery of email newsletters and responding to inquiries. In addition, Company may use such personal information to conduct investigations and other necessary actions when acts that infringes the interest of artists, customers or related companies is recognized or is presumed to be recognized. Customer may unsubscribe from the email newsletter when it becomes unnecessary.
Restriction of Use
Company will not use personal information, without customers’ consent, for any purpose other than to accomplish the purpose set forth in the above “Purpose of Use”; provided, however, that this will excluded exceptions as set forth in Article 18 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (such as cases based on laws and regulations and cases in which there is need to protect the life or property of an individual).
Maintaining the Accuracy of Personal Information
Company will use its best effort to maintain the accuracy of customers’ personal information.
Measures for Managing the Security of Personal Information
Company will assign an administrative manager to prevent the leaking, loss or damage of customers’ personal information and for managing the security thereof, and manage such information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other various laws and regulations and rules.
Supervision of Employees and Entrusted Persons
Company will assign an administrative manager and exercise supervision on its employees and entrusted persons in accordance with Article 24 (Supervision of Employees) and Article 25 (Supervision of an Entrusted Person) of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. Furthermore, taking into consideration the protection of personal information, Company will select an appropriate person such as a privacy mark certified company as an entrusted person.
Restrictions on Provision to Third Parties
Company will comply with all items described above and will not disclose personal information registered by a customer to any third party, except when it falls under any of the following:
・when the customer’s consent is obtained;
・when it is necessary to disclose personal information to a subcontracting company, partner company and outsourcing company that has signed a non-disclosure agreement with Company in order to implement the purpose of collection clearly specified to the customer (examples: outsourcing of shipment of products or product materials to an outsourcing company, inquiries to a credit card company at the time of credit card settlement);
・when it is appropriate to have a related company or agent respond to an inquiry from a customer;
・when disclosing statistical data in a manner that does not identify an individual customer (example: the number of people requesting information materials);
・when required to disclose personal information based on laws or regulations;
・when it is necessary to protect the life or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the identifiable person;
・when there is a special need to improve public wellbeing or promote healthy child development, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the identifiable person; or
・when there is a need to cooperate with a national government organ, local government, or person entrusted thereby with performing the functions prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the identifiable person is likely to interfere with the performance of those functions.
Referrals, Corrections, Deletions and Suspension of Use
Please contact Site in regard to referrals, correction to errors, deletion or suspension of use of customers’ personal information. To prevent any leakage of customers’ personal information to any third party, Company will disclose, correct, delete or suspend the use of customers’ personal information within a reasonable period of time, when it confirms that such request is made by the customer in-person.
Handling of Personal Information of Minor Customers
Site will use its utmost care to ensure the safety of minor customers. Minor customers are inevitably requested to register personal information upon obtaining the consent of its custodian. Company may separately make written inquires to customers that appear to be minors.
Compliance to Relevant Laws and Regulations and Other Standards
Company will comply with all laws and regulations and other standards applicable to personal information registered by customers.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be revised to achieve protection of customers’ personal information or in accordance with the changes in social conditions or revisions to Japanese laws or regulations or other standards. Notice of such revision will be posted on Site.
