This is the new umbrella, Gense Rikin, which was announced at the "(Live) Ringo Expo '18 - Forty Years of Relaxation" event, following the Tendo Umbrella and Rama Umbrella.
Like the badge for worldly benefits, this is an exceptional piece, featuring a yin-yang motif of two sacred objects painted on a large scale, over 1m in diameter.
It's fine to open it or close it, and of course it's very comfortable even when shining into Shinjuku in the heavy rain.
